About us

Remind Coordination was founded by Heleen Plovier in 2024.

With a strong academic background, Heleen holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Psychology from Ghent University, Belgium (Europe), along with a Teacher Qualification for Secondary Education.

Heleen’s passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs began at the age of 14, volunteering at school camps for children with disabilities. Over the years, she gained valuable professional experience, including roles as a teacher for students with refugee backgrounds and in student counseling.

After moving to Australia in 2017, Heleen expanded her expertise within the WA Community Services sector, working in Disability Employment Services, as a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, Support Coordinator, and NDIS Program Coordinator, among other roles.

Heleen has a keen interest in policy and legislation. She is deeply passionate about advocacy.

Outside of work, Heleen enjoys spending time with her family or friends. She enjoys cooking, nature walks and trying to keep her lawn alive.

Heleen is neurospicy, bringing a unique perspective to both her personal and professional life.
